According to “The Hollywood Reporter”, inspired by Bram Stoker’s DRACULA, the film is set on Demeter, the ship that transported the vampire from Transylvania to London, except the ship washes up on shore with only one survivor left. This story tells the tale of that voyage, where one passenger murdered the ship’s crew,

Over the course of the evening, he is gripped by mounting evidence that something insidious has taken hold of his ex-wife, and that she and her new friends have a mysterious and horrifying agenda. By the end of the night, the ramifications of what happens in this house will spread far beyond its doors.

Oscar winnerMichael Douglas in the cast. Written by the scribe of TANGLED and directed by famous John Turteltaub, the movie will follow four old friends who decide to throw a Las Vegas bachelor party for the only one of them who has remained single. De Niro will play the party-averse Paddy Connelly, who reluctantly agrees to fly to Vegas at the request of his friends. Douglas will play Billy Gerson, a lifelong bachelor, who has finally decided to take the plunge. Warren Beaty and Christopher Walkenwere mentioned before as possible candidates for the other two roles.

Another gorgeous lass, but a red headed one, Amy Adams, has meanwhile joined a film with a rather original title -AMERICAN BULLSHIT. Well, I guess those two words go nicely together. According to “MovieWeb” the project is based on the true story of a con man (Bradley Cooper) who helped the FBI unravel an enormous conspiracy spanning from Philadelphia to Washington D.C. The actress will play Maxine Gardner, the con man’s mistress who helps the FBI agent (Jeremy Renner) tackle the case. As you know Amy will be seen next year as Lois Lane in MAN OF STEEL.

Another actor to  join the movie adaptation of fantasy saga THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS is Irish star Aidan Turner, from BEING HUMAN and THE HOBBIT. He will play Luke Garroway, the surrogate father to the protagonist Clary Fray (Lily Collins)a young woman who learns she comes from a long line of demon hunters. The cast also includes Kevin Durand and Lena Headey. And speaking of fantasy, “MovieWeb” reports that director Jon M.Chu (GI JOE: RETALIATION) is in talks to helm MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE. The story follows He-Man, the last hope for a magical world’s survival against the evil Skeletor.

I must admit I found the trailer rather bad and boring, and the films doesn’t seem like something which could refresh the old saga
